Nichole & James' Engagement | Ft. Pickens

Nichole & James’ engagement session was at Ft. Pickens in Pensacola Beach. I have never been here, let alone even heard of it and let me just say…. it is hands down worth the drive from PC!!!

Nichole met with me for coffee a couple months back to have a consultation about their wedding. Her and James booked that evening and she knew exactly where she wanted her engagement pictures to be.

There is so much history here and I can’t wait to take a day to go explore and read all of the signs explaining everything. We started out above the old jail cells then went inside them. Then we went on the rooftop by the canons and then inside the tunnels. Then we went to a woodsy spot by the campgrounds to get a few fall style portraits.

A little backstory- James proposed to Nichole underwater while diving. So including the beach was a priority. We did the last part of their session on the shoreline and in the waves. The waves were c.r.a.z.y. but it worked out perfect for the photos!

Nichole & James get married at Rosie Creek Farms on October 24th, 2020 and I will be documenting everything. 2020 can’t come fast enough with 12 weddings already booked!!
