Melissa & Dakota tied the knot on February 15, 2020 at the Meeting House in Carillon Beach. Melissa rented out one of the beach homes there to get ready in and it was such a beautiful home. Carillon Beach has multiple locations for portraits. We started at the rental home, went to the Bell Tower, of course at the Meeting House, the Rose Garden, and even direct access to the beach.

I am so in love with these wedding photos. I love when clients book my luxury collection. It takes time to create beautiful imagery that is creative and unique to each couple.

Live through their wedding day all over again with me.

The night before the wedding Melissa’s mom gifted her with a book and read it to her. Melissa’s garter belt was also made with fabric from her mother’s wedding dress. These are the details I love taking photos of.

Dakota and Melissa are both behavior analysts at FSU Early Childhood Autism Program. Their guest seating chart was made with puzzle pieces. For those that don’t know, the Autism Awareness ribbon is made of puzzle pieces which represents the complexity of the autism spectrum. Melissa & Dakota have the biggest hearts of anyone I met. You can see them light up when they speak about their students and the love they share working in the same industry. This detail in wedding decor was one I picked up on quickly. This was such a meaningful way to display the guest seating chart.

In the photo above, Melissa and wedding guests are looking at a little slideshow I was able to put together including sneak peeks from throughout the day. This is always something extra I love to do for my couples if I have down time during the reception.

Make your wedding day how you want it, including reception activities. I realized the groom wasn’t on the dance floor and though he was just hanging out with guests. I finally when over (I’m nosey) and turns out they were all playing cards. This was a first time seeing this for me and I LOVED it!!
