The Baxleys Est. 10.06.18

Adrian has been talking to CMC for well over a year about her wedding. From the date she chose to the shoes she wore, she included me in all of that. I met Adrian through my brother’s softball team because we often times sat beside each other as she cheered on Perry. We share mutual friends and I’d say her and I have grown a true friendship through all of this. Here’s a little bit of what Adrian said about their relationship-

“We met on facebook and I kept bothering him until he messaged back. I knew his friend’s family for about three years before I ever met Perry, we actually had lots of mutual friends.” It wasn’t long after that they started a life together, and I am blessed enough to have their love to photograph.

Adrian’s grandmother, Dorothy, passed before the wedding. Her pin secured Adrian’s bouquet and that was a detail I had to capture.

Adrian’s mother gifted Adrian with matching bracelets to forever have a piece of one another. Mrs. Shirley, Adrian’s new mother-in-law, exchanged a few words of encouragement and smiles right before Adrian prepped to walk down the aisle to give her heart to the man she loved.

The Martin Theatre has always had an old-school, authentic feel to it. I would have never guessed it could be a wedding venue, but this is where the Baxley’s held their reception and it was so beautiful there!! I haven’t heard much about the Martin Theatre or seen the damage Hurricane Michael incurred on it, I hope I get to shoot another there.

Adrian, Kiana (my second-shooter), and I had to pose it up in front of her BEAUTIFUL photo booth!!! Kiana came up with this being a ritual from now on, so future any #CMCBride can expect this!

Glow stick send-offs are now a new favorite of mine!

Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Baxley!! Y’all truly have experience difficult trials in the beginning of your marriage due to Hurricane Michael, but your love will only grow stronger!

Adrian’s kind words about CMC-
