Madison + Tanner
I always meet with my bride & groom before the wedding to talk some details over, get to know them a little better, and all-in-all make sure we are able to get the best portraits on their wedding day.
Madison and Tanner were going to Elope so there was minimal planning that needed to be done. I still wanted to meet with them though because guys are typically camera shy, especially when they don’t know the photographer, and I didn’t want Tanner to be this way on his wedding day.
Madison, Tanner and I decided to do a mini engagement session in place of our consultation meeting. I was able to learn their body and love language so that I am prepared for their wedding, and they are comfortable getting portraits done.
Let me tell you, no matter what anyone says it just isn’t natural to get your pictures taken. It is something you have to get used to and let yourself be loose and natural in front of the PHOTOGRAPHER, then the portrait thing will come in second-handedly.
Their elopement styled wedding has now turned into a small family wedding that I am so excited to be a part of! There is only one short month left until I’ll be able to share wedding portraits of the two of them but in the meantime here is handful of their engagement session!
