Elopement at Eden Gardens- The Robertsons | Est. 7.27.18

Julie + Chris tied the knot on Friday, July 27, 2018 at Eden Gardens State Park. I just adored how simplistic their wedding was. From the ceremony decorations to Julie & Chris’s attire, not a detail was missed while still showing authenticity. I love being a part this special day for my clients!

The weather was still so gorgeous even after the rain the venue got before everything began. The humidity may have about killed all of us, but celebrating their beautiful love made it all SO WORTH IT! Look at Chris’s reaction!!

This past week, I heard for the first time that rain is GOOD LUCK on a wedding day, and I heard this at all three weddings! At Julie & Chris’s wedding though, the officiant explained why people say that:

” On your wedding day you ‘tie the knot’. Have you ever tried to untie a wet knot? “

I know I have, and it’s basically impossible! I shared this at Saturday’s wedding too when it started raining. Now, luckily it never rained during any of the ceremonies this past week and the weather was perfect for all of the portraits we did!

Julie & Chris, I just want to thank you for choosing me to photograph your BEAUTIFUL wedding day! Congratulations, I wish you all the best!
